3 eggs
1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar (1 1/2 white; 1/2 brown)
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine first 8 ingredients. Then fold in apples and nuts. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.

CREAM CHEESE ICING:

1 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
3 c. powdered sugar
