PLUM - GOOD CHICKEN 
2 to 2 1/2 lb. meaty chicken pieces
1/2 c. plum jam
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. onion powder

Rinse chicken. Pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. For sauce, in a saucepan combine plum jam, lemon juice, water, ground ginger, and onion powder. Cook and stir till jam melts.

Grill chicken pieces, bone side up, on an uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 20 minutes. Turn chicken and grill for 20 to 30 minutes more or till tender. Brush often with sauce during the last 15 minutes of cooking. Drizzle any remaining sauce on chicken before serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
