1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
3 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. oil

Mix together dry ingredients in medium pan. Stir in water and oil. Add 1 or more food coloring to make color desired.

Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly. It will appear sticky and lumpy at first. Take out when appears dry and knead it until smooth. Store in plastic container.
