2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. pecan halves
1/2 stick butter
Dash of salt

Beat egg whites until they peak. Add sugar, vanilla, salt and stir until mixed. Add pecans and stir until coated. Melt butter on cookie sheet. Pour pecan mixture on pan and even out. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
