SAVORY SUCCOTASH 
1 lb. can green beans, drained (either French style or diagonal cut)
1 lb. can shoe peg corn, drained
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 pt. sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix and place in buttered baking dish. Place in refrigerator and let marinate for several hours or overnight.

Just before baking, add a thick topping of buttered crushed cheese crackers and 1 cup slivered almonds. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes.
