WONDERFUL CARAMEL BROWNIES 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 box Pillsbury Plus German chocolate cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup milk over low heat. Combine cake mix, 1/3 cup milk, melted butter, and nuts in a bowl. Spread 1/2 of the cake mixture in a 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees 6 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top; spread melted caramel mixture over chips. Crumble remaining cake mix over caramel layer. Bake 20 minutes more at 350 degrees.
