VERY SPECIAL BROWNIES 
1 pkg. Pillsbury German chocolate cake mix
14 oz. pkg. Kraft caramels
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped walnuts
3/4 c. butter, melted

Mix cake mix with butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch glass dish. Spread 1/2 of cake mixture evenly on bottom of pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 to 10 minutes (till fluffy). Meanwhile, melt unwrapped caramels with remaining milk. Pour melted caramels over first layer. Sprinkle chips and spread evenly. Spread remaining cake mix on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Cool at room temperature for a long time before cutting. Do not store in refrigerator.
