MUSHROOM SWISS STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. top round steak
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. butter
2 med. onions, sliced
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup

Pound flour, salt, and pepper into steak. Cut into serving pieces. Melt butter in skillet, brown meat and put into a shallow baking dish. Top each piece with onion slices. Heat soup in skillet. Pour over meat, cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours (5 servings).
