30 DAY BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. boiling water
2 c. 1005 bran
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
5 tsp. baking soda
5 c. flour
4 c. bran flakes

Mix boiling water and 100% bran. Cool. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Fold in cooled bran mixture. Add buttermilk alternately with dry ingredients. Add bran flakes last. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Will keep in refrigerator for 30 days. Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
