NEW ENGLAND STYLE BAKED BEANS 
1 1/2 lbs. dried pea beans
8 c. water
1/4 lb. salt pork, cut into chunks
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 sm. chopped onions
1 tsp. dry mustard
3/4 c. molasses
1 can undiluted tomato soup

Sort and wash beans. Cover with cold water and soak overnight. Drain well. Place drained beans in large kettle. Mix with 8 cups water Cover pot. Boil 30 minutes or until skins break away when you blow gently on beans. Put remaining ingredients in a bean pot. Add boiled beans with their water to the pot. Blend well. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 3 to 5 hours, until tender. Add more water during baking if necessary. Makes 10 servings.
