WILD CASHEW PORK | |
1 1/2 lbs. pork, cubed 3 tbsp. cornstarch 3 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. oil 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 carrots, diagonally cut 1 onion, cut into wedges 1 green pepper, cut into strips 1 pkg. brown and wild rice mix 1/4 to 1/2 c. cashews Combine cornstarch with soy sauce and pepper. Toss with pork and let stand 1 hour. In frying pan, heat oil and stir-fry pork. Add carrots, onion, pepper. Cook until crisp-tender. Prepare brown and wild rice mix according to package directions. Serve pork mixture over cooked rice and top with cashews. Makes 4 to 6 servings. (Just as good served over Minute rice.) |
