PECAN CRISPIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans

Cream shortening, butter, and sugar. Add eggs; beat well. Add sifted ingredients and nuts. Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
