PECAN CRISPIES 
1/2 c. butter
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugars until light, beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients, blend into cream mixture, stir in nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Yield: 2 1/2 dozen.
