TEX - MEX LAYERED DIP | |
1 lg. or 2 sm. cans refried beans 2 c. sour cream 4 to 5 ripe avocados, mashed 2 tsp. lemon or lime juice 2 to 3 medium tomatoes, chopped 1 bunch green onions with tops, thinly sliced 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies 1 (4 oz.) can sliced ripe olives 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated Spread refried beans on bottom of a 9 x 13 inch glass dish or a large round platter. Layer the sour cream next. Mix lemon juice with avocados and layer over sour cream. Layer rest of ingredients in order given. Serve with Tostitos. This is a pretty dip and a big hit at every party I've taken it to. |
