CABBAGE CASSEROLE I | |
5 c. chopped cabbage 1 stick butter Cornflakes 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1 can celery soup 1 c. milk 1 can sliced water chestnuts 1 c. grated cheese 1 chopped onion Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Pour into mixing bowl. Put cabbage in bowl, mix also. Mix soup, milk, onions, mayonnaise, and water chestnuts. Crush 2 cups of cornflakes and press in bottom of dish. Pour in cabbage mixture. Next pour over soup mixture. Now add grated cheese on top. Top with crushed cornflakes as needed. Cook at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. |
