TARTE A LA BOUILLIE 
Custard for 2 Pies:

1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. cornstarch
6 - 7 egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. milk
2 12 oz. cans evaporated milk
Pinch salt

Preheat oven between 300 and 350°F. Mix all together in saucepan, cook on low heat. When thick enough, remove from heat. Put in unbaked pie shell.

Bake until light brown.

Crust for 2 Pies:

1 pinch salt

Cream sugar and butter well, add eggs, mix well. Add vanilla. Mix all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
