MAXIMUM BROWNIES 
1/3 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 tbsp. Amaretto or Frangelico liqueur (optional)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. chopped, slivered, toasted almonds
1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9" square pan with foil. Grease and flour. In bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs, syrup, liqueur and vanilla until blended. Add flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder; blend until combined. Sprinkle walnuts into prepared pan, pour in batter and sprinkle batter with chocolate chips and almonds. Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely.
