HOLIDAY SUGAR COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar

Cream sugar and butter; beat eggs in small bowl. Add egg to sugar and butter. Mix in flour and vanilla. Stir until softened. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours.

When dough is ready, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut dough in half. Roll with rolling pin covered in flour on surface covered in flour. Roll until dough is thin as a coin. Cut into various shapes (snowmen, Christmas trees, etc.). Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7-8 minutes; let cool. Decorate as desired.
