SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 c. water
1 c. raisins
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 c. sour cream
4 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie crust

MERINGUE:

4 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar

Boil water, raisins and sugar until sugar is well dissolved. Add cornstarch, cloves, sour cream and beaten egg yolks. Cook in double boiler until thick. Add vanilla. Put into baked pie crust. Beat egg whites, add sugar gradually until dissolved. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
