TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
STEP 1:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

STEP 2:

Bring to a fast boil:

1 c. butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa

STEP 3:

2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk (or milk with vinegar)
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix step 3 well and add to step 2, then add all to step 1; (use jelly roll pan 15 x 10 inch) ungreased. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until done.

FROSTING: Frost while warm. Bring to a fast boil 1/2 cup butter, 4 tablespoon cocoa, 6 tablespoon milk; add to 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
