TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. white sugar
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 or 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
1 pkg. powdered sugar (1 lb.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together and set aside flour and sugar. In a small pan mix butter, cocoa and water, bring to a rapid boil and pour over flour sugar mixture. Mix well and add buttermilk, eggs, cinnamon, soda and vanilla. Mix well and pour on cookie sheet lined with foil sides 1 inch higher than pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until done.

FROSTING:

Mix in saucepan cocoa, butter and milk, bring to a boil, then add powdered sugar, mix well to dissolve lumps. Remove from heat before adding powdered sugar. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix by hand and spread on hot cake.
