SWEET 'N SPICY CHILI
1 lb. pkg. lean ground turkey, chicken, or beef
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can mixed beans, drain them (but not completely)
1 green pepper
1 sweet red pepper
1 large yellow onion
2 cups mini Bella Mushrooms
1 cup black beans, drained
1 cup water
2/3 cup corn
1/2 cup extra mild chunky salsa
3 tbsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. + 1 tsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. agave nectar or sugar
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. oregano
2 tsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Fry up your-choice ground meat on medium heat for approximately 8 minutes, season with a little garlic powder, salt and pepper. While your ground meat is cooking, chop up the onions, peppers and mushrooms.

In a large pot, add the can of diced tomatoes and crushed tomatoes. Stir in the tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salsa, spices, agave nectar, salt, pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes then add in peppers, mushrooms, onion, beans and corn. Cover and simmer on medium heat for 40 minutes minimum.

Eventually add in 1 cup of water (if needed). Let stand for 20 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to settle.
