APPLE RAISIN STUFFING 
1/2 c. minced onion
1/2 c. canned mushrooms
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. seedless raisins
12 c. bread cubes, toasted
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. poultry seasoning
2 c. applesauce

Brown onions and chopped mushrooms in butter; add raisins, toasted bread cubes, salt, and poultry seasoning. Mix well. Add applesauce.

Any leftover stuffing can be put in covered casserole and baked with turkey for about 1/2 hour at 325 degrees.

Enough stuffing for a 12-pound turkey.

Hint: Line cavity of bird with cheese-cloth. Stuff turkey, bake. When ready to serve, just pull stuffing out all at once.
