CRESCENT COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. water
2 c. flour
1/2 c. chocolate chops
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Cream; butter, shortening, sugar. Add: vanilla, water, flour, chocolate chips. Stir together. Chill 1 to 2 hours. Shape into crescents by taking a walnut size amount of dough, roll between your hands to make an oblong shape about 2 to 3 inches long. Bend the ends in to form a crescent.

Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. DO NOT brown.

When you take them out of the oven dip into the powdered sugar. They are so good they are sinful!
