SWISS HAZENUT CRESCENT COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. light syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. ground hazelnuts or walnuts

Mix butter, syrup and vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts. Chill 1 hour. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonful into 2 inch long rolls. Roll in cinnamon coating (1/2 cup confectioners' sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon). Place on cookie sheet forming crescents. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes. 4 dozen crescents.
