NO MIX CHERRY PINEAPPLE NUT CAKE 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)
1/2 c. butter

Grease 13"x9" dish. Spread pineapple with syrup evenly, smooth cherry filling over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix (nuts) over fruit. Cut butter into thin slices, place over ingredients. Bake 50 minutes or until golden. Serve warm with a dollop of whipping cream if desired. Serves 12.
