CRANBERRY CASSEROLE 
3 c. unpeeled tart apples
2 c. raw cranberries
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1 stick butter, melted
3/4 tsp. salt

Place apples into bottom of well-greased 2 quart casserole. Spread cranberries over apples. Sprinkle sugar over fruit. Make a topping of remaining ingredients and spread over cranberries and apples. Bake 1 hour in a 325 degree oven.
