OREGON APPLE PIE
4 lg. apples (Cortland)
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
6 oz. butter, melted and cooled
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour

Peel and slice the apples and arrange in layers in lightly greased pie plate. Use enough apples to fill the dish. Sprinkle each layer with the granulated sugar and cinnamon.

Combine the cooled butter, brown sugar, nuts and flour in a bowl. Add eggs and mix together until well blended. Pour this mixture over the apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until apples are soft and lightly browned. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar and nuts before serving.
