CHEESE APPLE SAUSAGE PIE 
1 pkg. pie crust
2 c. grated Swiss cheese, packed slightly
5 precooked sausages, cut into 1/4 slices
2 med. apples, pared, cored and sliced
1 med. onion, chopped
4 eggs
1 tbsp. flour
Salt to taste
1 c. milk
1 c. heavy cream
1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter

Saute sausage, drain (a 1/2-1 pound of ground sausage can be substituted). Prepare pie crust and line a 10 inch pie or tart pan. Flute edges. Layer cheese, apple, onion and sausage in pastry lined pan. Beat eggs, milk, cream, flour and salt and butter until well mixed. Pour over layered ingredients. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes until top is puffy and golden. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serves 6.
