CARAMEL POPCORN 
2 c. (packed) brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. peanuts or pecans
7 1/2 qts. popped corn

Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt. Boil 5 minutes. Beat in soda. Stir in peanuts. Place corn in a large shallow pan and pour sugar mixture over corn. Stir. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Makes 7 1/2 quarts.
