AUNT ROSES STUFFED CABBAGE 
1 (3-4 lb.) cabbage - leaves separated and hard spines sliced off

MEAT FILLING:

2 lbs. hamburger
2 med. onions, grated
Salt and pepper to taste
3 eggs
Handful of matzah meal (or bread crumbs)

Mix all of above together.

SAUCE:

12 oz. can tomato paste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2-3 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. light Karo syrup
3 tbsp. brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Put sauce in heavy Dutch oven, fill cabbage leaves with meat filling and roll up tucking in the ends. Lay cabbage rolls on sauce and cook over low heat about 2 1/2 hours, basting occasionally in the beginning.
