2 c. All Bran 2 c. boiling water 1 c. melted shortening 2 c. sugar 1 c. honey 1 qt. buttermilk 4 beaten eggs 5 tsp. baking soda 3 tsp. salt 5 c. flour 4 c. raisin bran 1 c. raisins In a large bowl mix All Bran, boiling water and shortening. Add remaining ingredients, beat well, mixture will thicken. Store in refrigerator. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes as you need them. Keep up to 6 weeks. Hint: Substitute Fruitful Bran for Raisin bran. |
