EASY, NO-POT ROAST 
1 1/2 lb. chuck steak
1 env. onion soup mix
1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
3 med. carrots, quartered
2 or 3 stalks celery, cut in sticks
2 or 3 med. potatoes, quartered
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper

Place meat in center of 2 1/2 foot piece of foil. Sprinkle with soup mix. Spread onion over meat. Cover with vegetables. Dot vegetables with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Fold foil over and seal securely. Place on baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 400 to 450 degrees for an hour and a half. 4 servings.
