FRENCH BREAKFAST MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. butter, melted

Combine first 5 ingredients. Add egg, milk, and 1/3 cup melted butter. Mix thoroughly. Grease and flour small muffin tins. Fill 1/2 full and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan immediately and dip in remaining 1/3 cup melted butter and roll in a mixture of the sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Serve warm. 18 muffins.
