2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 med. can applesauce
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 c. butter
1 c. raisins
1 c. walnuts
1 tsp. baking soda

Sift together first 4 ingredients. In separate bowl, mix applesauce, melted chocolate, butter and baking soda. Add sifted ingredients. Fold in nuts and raisins. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Frost with chocolate frosting.
