1 c. shortening
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 egg
7 tbsp. cold water

Mix flour, shortening and salt until fine. Beat egg. Add vinegar and water. Add to dry ingredients and mix.

Yields 5 single crusts.
