SPINACH SALAD 
1 lb. spinach, wash, remove stems & discard, pat leaves dry & tear into bite size pieces
1 med. onion, thinly sliced
8 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained & thinly sliced
1 (8 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 lb. fresh sliced mushrooms

Combine spinach, onion, bacon, water chestnuts, mandarin oranges, and sliced mushrooms.

SALAD DRESSING:

2 c. salad oil
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. cider vinegar

Mix salad oil, sugar, dry mustard and salt in blender. Add 2/3 cup cider vinegar, slowly. Dressing will be sufficient for several salads.
