PEACH KUCHEN 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar (or white)
12 peach halves or 2 packages frozen slices
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream or heavy cream

Cut butter into flour, baking powder, salt and 2 tablespoons sugar with a pastry cutter until it looks like coarse meal. Press firmly into 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.

Arrange peaches to cover surface. Bake 15 minutes in 400 degree oven. Lower oven temperature to 375 degrees. Beat eggs with cream and pour over peaches. Bake 40 minutes longer.

Serves 6 to 8. Note: Nectarines or apples may be substituted for the peaches.
