PEACH KUCHEN | |
1/2 c. softened butter 1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1/2 c. coconut, optional 1 can (29 oz.) sliced peaches, well drained Or 1 1/2 c. sliced pared baking apples, drained on paper towels 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. sour cream 1 egg Cut butter into dry cake mix until crumbly. Mix in coconut. Pat mix lightly into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Build up edges slightly. Bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven and arrange peach slices on warm crust. Mix sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle over peaches. Blend sour cream and egg. Drizzle over peaches (will not completely cover peaches). Bake 25 minutes or until edges are light brown at 350 degrees. |
