CORNMEAL GRAVY 
1/2 c. grease (bacon or ?)
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. cornmeal

Mix water and cornmeal in hot grease until desired thickness. Allow to cool.

Just tonight I heard about this gravy. My sis in law lives in N. Carolina and fixes it on a regular basis. She uses milk instead of water and swears it's the best stuff, EVER! She eats it over cornbread. Love it!
