BROCCOLI CASSEROLE | |
1/4 c. finely chopped onion 6 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. water 3 eggs, well beaten 1 (8 oz.) jar pasteurized cheese spread, whip 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and well drained 1/2 c. cracker crumbs Saute' onions in 4 tablespoons butter until soft. Stir in flour. Add water, stir until thick and comes to a boil. Blend in cheese. Combine sauce and broccoli. Add well beaten eggs. Mix gently until well mixed. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover with cracker crumbs and dot with remaining butter. Bake in 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. |
