FANCY ICE CREAM PIE 
FILLING:

1/2 pt. (1 c.) whipping cream
1 qt. coffee ice cream

CRUST:

1 1/2 c. crushed chocolate wafer
1/3 c. melted butter

MERINGUE:

2 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar

Whip cream and then add it to softened ice cream. Mix melted butter with crushed chocolate wafers. Form into a 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool. Fill pie crust with ice cream mixture. Freeze until firm.

Beat 2 egg whites until very stiff. Add 1/4 cup sugar slowly to egg whites until blended. Spread top of pie with meringue. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 500 degrees for 5 minutes.
