HERB TOMATOES 
6 lg. tomatoes, halved crosswise
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1/4 c. minced parsley
1/4 c. minced chives
2/3 c. salad oil
1/4 c. tarragon vinegar

Lay tomatoes in baking dish, sprinkle with seasonings, parsley and chives. Combine oil and vinegar; pour over tomatoes. Cover and chill 1 hour. Drain tomatoes to serve. Marinade may be served with tomatoes.
