MAYONNAISE DOUGHNUTS 
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sour milk or soured milk
7 c. flour

To sour sweet milk, add slowly 2 tablespoons vinegar or 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice to 1 cup of sweet milk, stirring constantly. Let stand 5 minute before using. I prefer lemon juice.

Beat eggs and add sugar and beat again. Add mayonnaise, vanilla, and nutmeg. Mix dry ingredients together and add egg mixture alternately with sour milk. Roll out, cut and fry.

NOTE: Do not use Miracle Whip. It absorbs too much grease to the doughnut.
