“YOGURT SMOOTHIE” IS IN:

YOGURT SMOOTHIE 
The oats give this a very nice flavor I think you will enjoy.

2 frozen very ripe bananas (freezing makes a difference)
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cups ground oats
1/2 cup ground almonds or walnuts
2 1/2 cups (20 oz.) yogurt or Kefir (your choice of flavor)
1/2 cup frozen berries (or your choice fruit)
2 scoops protein powder (organic soy only)
1/2 cup almond milk or oat milk

Bananas should be over-ripe with some black marks on them. Peel them and cut them into 8 to 10 pieces, coat them with lemon juice and place them in freezer bags and freeze overnight.

Note: The ripeness of the banana and the freezing brings out a special banana flavor that is not otherwise there.

Grind the oats in a nut grinder or blender until they are powder. Add the nuts and do the same. Add the balance of the ingredients and blend until smooth.

Enjoy!

Serves 2 to 3.
