BAKED BEANS (Large amount) 
5 qts. beans
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 lg. onion, diced fine
Bacon, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (46 oz.) can tomato soup
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Soak beans overnight. The next morning drain. Put fresh water and 1 tablespoon baking soda on the beans. Cook until done. Drain and put beans, onion, bacon, salt and pepper, soup and brown sugar into a large roaster and bake.
