BARBECUED BEEFIES TOPPED WITH
VIDALIA ONION
 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. bread crumbs
1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. minced onion
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
NOTE: Will need Vidalia onions to slice

Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Shape mixture into 8 individual loaves. Place in shallow pan with thin slices of Vidalia onion on each. Pour barbecue sauce over all. (Use your favorite barbecue sauce.) Baste often. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
