STRAWBERRY CAKE | |
I: Make white cake mix as directed. Pour 1/2 batter in a 9"x16" pan. II: 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, room temp. 1 pt. (2 c.) whipping cream 2 c. powdered sugar Whip cream cheese until smooth; add whipping cream and powdered sugar and whip until thick. Spread on cooled cake. III: 1 lg. pkg. strawberry junket style dessert mix 2 c. cold water 3 sm. cans frozen strawberries, sweetened Dissolve junket dessert in water. Bring to boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove. While hot, add strawberries; stir well. Refrigerate until cool. Pour on top of cream mixture. Refrigerate cake overnight. Do Step III first! |
