CHINESE COLE SLAW 
1 lb. finely chopped cabbage

DRESSING:

1/2 c. oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Snack Ramen soup mix (chicken or oriental flavor)
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1/4 c. sesame seeds

Mix oil, sugar, vinegar and pepper with seasoning packet from soup mix. Pour over cabbage to marinate 2 to 4 hours. Crush soup noodles in wrapper to small pieces. In dry frying pan carefully toast almonds. Then toast sesame seeds. Set aside. Add to cabbage with broken noodles just before serving.

Optional: Almonds and sesame seeds may be browned in butter if preferred.

Optional: Shredded carrots, chopped green peppers or sliced green onions may be added for flavor and color.
