HOT FRUIT COMPOTE 
16 oz. sliced peaches (drained)
16 oz. pear halves (drained), coarsely chopped
16 oz. plums or cherries (drained)
20 oz. pineapple chunks (drained
6 oz. Maraschino cherries
2 bananas (sliced)
16 oz. applesauce
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Combine all fruit in baking (9 x 13) dish. Combine 3/4 cup brown sugar, butter and applesauce in saucepan. Heat and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons brown sugar and pecans. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
